Six Cycles is Taunton’s newest independent bicycle retailer and service centre with an emphasis on chic, not geek!
Opened in May 2010, owner Steve Ballantine is focussed on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all cyclists, whether you’re new to the cycling world, or looking for something a bit more technical. Six Cycles have done away with the typical cluttered and drab appearance favoured by other bicycle chains, and have introduced a fresh new concept to bicycle retail.
Stocking big name brands such as Scott, Shimano and SRAM, as well as exciting up and coming Ghost and Ragley. With accessories by Endura, Lezyne, Pedros, Smart Lights, Met, SIS and Giro. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, Steve and his team are happy to try and source it for you, and can provide expert advice for beginners.
For the single speed and fixie fans we also stock a good range of Swobo and SE Bikes.
Six Cycles are happy to help with any mechanical problems, no matter how big or small and are currently offering free labour on all servicing. Quotes for parts are always given before any work is carried out. Our mechanic Oli Steward has over 10 years experience and is fully Cytech qualified.
Six Cycles is perfectly situated overlooking the river, next door to Olio & Farina, deli & cafe where you can enjoy some tasty authentic Italian food and drink. A perfect stop off for cyclists enjoying the riverside cycle path.
